Here is a quick test of an idea I have for the end. Do you guys think that too much information is lost? I know the song is kind of cheesy, but it's the song that is playing during the voiceover from the alternate version I found.

I could also mix the beginning of the linkin puke song into the next song, but I think it would be too harsh of a transition. I kind of feel like the ending should be a little more somber, as they have lost their planet and one of their friends.

Here is the original voiceover in its entirety with my notes:

With the All Spark gone [shown in the movie], we cannot return life to our planet [revealed earlier]. And fate has yielded its reward: a new world to call home [obvious]. We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight, but watching over them in secret, waiting, protecting [obvious]. I have witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye [stated earlier in film].
