Ok, this may fall into the category of "Lucasizing", but what about just swapping out Ian's face into Clive's hood? That would...give you permission...for lack of a better term...to turn the brightness down and maybe use that darkness to disguise where you would have to edit the video to accomodate the dialogue changes. Personally, I thought the Ian holo was a little bright, another one of those "LOOK WHAT WE DID!" moments.
