In many, many ways the US is still the best country on the planet to live in right now from what I've gathered from reading a number of "Where should I move to?" threads on other forums and from other hints, which makes it all the bigger shame these cracks are starting to form. Hopefully they can be healed to enough of a degree in the near future, although obviously people across the board are losing that kind of hope.

Does anyone here have thoughts on this Ron Paul guy? One of my pals says he's going to vote for him, but I haven't looked into his views in detail yet myself.
