Lets talk a little about film first, shall we?
Paint in film is a particularly funny thing. In Jurassic Park, you'd be hard pressed to find a screen cap of a raptor that looks anything buy brown:
but let me assure you now... every animatronic raptor was fully painted like this
That's the thing about film... the way something is painted and how we see it IRL... is NOT...almost ever... how it appears in the film.
That's why movie sets always seem a bit off... it's becuase they are painted slightly off so that the filter... the lighting...whatever it may be... will show off the CORRECT color.
Now, these fighters are painted blue... which seems like an absurd thing to do when you're blue screening them, especially when Grey would totally work..
But they are painted this way for a reason... so that once blue screened... they stillstick out and have a light blue/grey look..
I for one think that as long as they are the ALL are the same color and are not ANH color, or close to Vaders ship, then that is the perfect color... Your color is fine by me Ady
