PaulisDead2221 is working on just such a project as we speak (see link below). :) Looks like the results will be great. :) Apparently he's using the 2004 DVD set as the main source, then the 2004 alterations are being removed and replaced with the real scenes from the 2006 unaltered Star Wars trilogy DVD set (GOUT). Correct the colors in the 2004 DVD footage to match the quite accurate Star Wars colors from the 2006 GOUT set, plus convert the GOUT footage to anamorphic to match as close as possible to the 2004 footage, pull it all together carefully and sync it with the DD 2.0 soundtrack from the GOUT set, and you should have one very nice set of the unaltered Star Wars trilogy on DVD. :)
