Well, I'm using a totally different computer and Operating System at the moment, so I guess it was something on my end that was messed up (or else the forums just now decided to cooperate).

I'm overjoyed that the TIEs are going to be blue in ESBR/ROTJR... having all colorless Imperial vehicles would just be so boring and bland.

Thanks for seeing the wisdom in that. Now the question is just HOW BLUE they will be. I figure if they are as blue as they were in theaters in '80/'83 that's good enough for me.

no they won't be the oversaturated blue they were in many shots. there are so many colour inconsistencies with their colour that i'm referencing the model colour, which many of the shots are originally that exact colour. I think that ILM boosted the colours just so they could show off that they can do Blue coloured ships against a blue screen but over did it. but they forgot to boost the colour is so many shots they range from navy blue, to the proper blue/grey to full blown grey. Same thing happens in ROTJ, but not as bad. Don't forget i'm not recreating the OUT or the exact colouring, because its impossible to do that with the 2004 or HD sources. This is my take on the movie and i am having to reference many on set photos & publicity and model shots to restore the colour because the colour isn't correct in the GOUT (although its closer to the original it does have a red tint to it which throws some colouring off a bit)

I fixed this the best way i could (at the moment). the gun shouldn't even be facing that way but at least it hasn't got just the one strut anymore
