When you guys get on the technical side of sound and whatnot, I start getting totally lost. So, as vacation from this thread, I was looking around at some stuff elsewhere and stumbled upon a quick 7 response thread from 1992 that I think everyone here might find interesting. Its funny that just now we are discussing the very thing that these guys were dreaming about 16 years ago. This only takes about 2 minutes to read so let me know what you think.
Once you read it, imagine their reaction if they had their hands on Ady's edit! This is a testament to how long we've waited for these edits to finally happen and happen correctly.

Wow. I do love the guy's comment about the 20th anniversary. It was so true- the SE. Even if it wasn't perfect, a theater re-release was awesome. They should do it again. (The rerelease, not the changes)
And LOL at the picture. I had seen it before, but hadn't really thought about it. The railing really is way too small. I mean, the shot goes by relatively quickly, and they do move higher than the camera, but the hall would have to be 20 feet wide. Of course, that could be the intent- make it look wider.
