i had the Flunk release sent to me ages ago but it became unplayable too. it turned out to be the media. It was a RITEK disc. this make (depending on what dye was used) has a very short lifespan. I have loads of discs that are now unplayable because the dye degraded. its a very common problem with RITEK dye discs. i just wish i had known this when someone suggested i use this type originally and now have so many that are lost because of this problem. thats why i always use Taiyo Yuden for DVD-5's and Singapore made Verbatim for DVD-9's now.
good luck with your project. can't wait to hear the 5.1 laserdisc tracks synced to these video sources.
