I would put up some money toward aquiring one of these prints, but only after I see what Puggo can do with the lead he has on the 16mm version with ANH in the crawl. Personally, I see little value in spending hundreds (or thousands) on a print if the quality is sub-GOUT.

Also, I would only contribute if the front man (the one doing the bidding) were someone on these boards that I consider trustworthy. For me, this would have to be someone like Puggo, who has already shown their good intentions to this community.

If we ever do want to do this, we should set up a PayPal account that everyone can contribute to, and which will ONLY be used for the purchasing of a print. Plus (and this may annoy some), but anyone who contributes should be able to get their money returned at any point, for whatever reason.

Some things to consider:
-Transferring the film, if the result is DVD quality, may generate a little C&D action from Lucasfilm.
-Most people with private collections of things (films, props, etc.) keep them PRIVATE. They don't want to risk losing their collection.
