Well, I understand about the possible trust issue and so on. But perhaps if donations were made to some long time member who everyone here knows well and has established an excellent reputation then this would not be a problem? People here make donations all the time to worthy Star Wars preservation projects and such by respected members, because we know that only serious fans even work on stuff like this. After all, this place if filled with some of the most dedicated Star Wars fans you'll run into, we all have the same goal in mind. :)

What we don't want to have happen is some guy win the print who no one here even knows, and then there goes the scan. So whatever we're going to do, we'd better do it quick. This is a chance to finally get Star Wars on DVD the way it's supposed to look, full DVD res, anamorphically enhanced, on a dual-layer DVD and with no SE junk to worry about. Let's find some way to make this happen. :)
