Well, I've just spent my Sunday morning reading all 45 pages of this thread - doing some catch up reading on everything I've missed while I've been away for a while (had some pressing Indiana Jones work to do on some other web sites). Anyway, all of this is shaping up quite nicely and as Ady and I already discussed more than a year ago, his vision and my vision for the revision of the SEs is simpatico and this thread bears that out.

Ady, I know the color maskings are driving you up the wall, but I have to tell you the results so far have been OUTSTANDING. Don't worry too much about getting the color from the pre-THX and Revisited to match - Your eye alone has proven to be more than up to the challenge of delivering these movies from the hellish blue tint of evil that has all but decimated the DVD versions. And getting the colors back to a realistic pleasing balance is what counts, not matching to pre-THX whatever.

As far as the effects and changes, you already know you and I are on the same page. Just keep one thing in mind - If you're adding any ships at the end with the Rebels, let's remember that the full Rebel fleet wasn't assembled in one place until ROTJ - "Hurry, the Alliance should be assembled by now." - To my mind that means that the ragtag group that escaped Hoth would not have yet rendezvoused with the Mon Calamari fleet until ROTJ....

Can you tell I'm making a case to keep any ROTJ unique stuff out of Empire? :)

But whatever decision you make, I'll ultimately support it as always. Keep up the great work, old friend.
