PaulisDead2221: That sounds like a dream 16mm transfer. A full 1080 scan would mean a superb dual layer DVD could be made from it. Plus a full HD version could be made, too. :) Would that scan be at 1920x1080 at 24 frames per second?

Puggo: This print you have access to, other than the fact that it has A New Hope in the title, is the visual quality of the print better than the one up for auction? The opening title can be used from existing sources that don't have A New Hope in them, if need be. It's the visual quality of the movie that really matters. :)
