STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION — Page 243

I haven't been following with all the fixes, etc. and was hoping someone could help me out.

I downloaded the ISO file from a.b.starwars and was about to burn with ImgBurn, but after I hit the "write" button, I got the following error:

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: None Found! (VTS_51)

This image has not been mastered correctly for burning onto a double layer (OTP Track Path) disc.

None of the cells meet the 'DVD-Video specification' criteria for a potential layer break position.

Do you want to continue anyway?

I assume this isn't the same thing as the thing noted in the NFO file. Is there a fix for this? Or can I continue anyway? Thanks. :)

EDIT: after going through a few pages of search results, I noticed this issue has been dealt with. I tried applying Adywan's fix and created the ISO. Unfortunately, I get the same error as before. I even tried using PgcEdit and doing it manually. But the resulting ISO still gave me the same error. :( After trying Nero, it fails before even burning to the disc. :(

I am having the exact same issue with IMGBurn only I continued (because sometimes these errors don't affect the play) and the burn process crapped out around 15%. I'm burning at 2.4x onto a fujifilm dual layer but I downloaded negative0ne's newest torrent from Demonoid. then again i never did anything with the fix and fail to understand what is meant by 'extracting the iso file' other than having to decrypt it (i.e. iso -> file mode in DVD Decrypter...)

p.s. I believe DD is shortform for DVD Decrypter (predecessor to Imgburn)

i'm also not understanding why there's a thumbnail file inside the .iso

EDIT: nevermind, I burned it with Nero and as far as I can see it's working perfectly! thanks! I'm going to sit down and watch it from beginning to end but just for the record I'm pretty impressed by all the work that went into this Adrian!

I was able to burn with Nero after using a new DVD burner. Plays fine so far as well. :)

yeah i just watched it tonight.

A-MA-ZING. wicked job! I'll bite my tongue on the Yavin battle's tie fighters because everything was so great. I can't wait for Empire... but since time = quality... take all the time you need. ;)

no problems as far as menus or errors at the trash compactor scene--but the "that's me!" subtitle is still under harrison ford's name at the credits. thanks for posting the torrent -1.

No need for wishing, go right ahead, download it and print it out. :D The full-resolution images are linked right there.

Hey RoccondilRinon, your SW-Hires.zip link for your DVD covers is dead. Any chance I can still download that file from somewhere else?

RiccondilRinon - Is it possible for you or someone to arrange for your 'Star Wars Revisited' cover and label art to go on Adywan's 'Revisited' details on Fanedit.org ? There's a few good ones there now, and yours should join them.

Is that the one with my Revisited cover and disc art, or the one with a bunch of cleaned-up (textless) posters? Let me know and I'll repost them.

I believe it's the one with the cleaned up and textless posters and the other graphic elements you used. I downloaded the other file and it just had the episode 4 disc art included.

I upload a lot of the covers at fanedit.org, and I have some more covers to put up yet. This might be one of them. We have been transferring our site to a new host, and updates have been kind of sparse. I'll try to get them up this weekend. Sorry for the delay :) If anyone else has any covers they would like up, you can mail them to:

Looking good. Now we just need to wait 10 years to fill it ;) No pressure, adywan.

I don't have any special set-up myself, but a DVD cover is smaller in both dimensions than a piece of A4 paper. My box art would probably be too wide, but there are always ways. The trick is to get it to print at the right size, and I have no idea how to do this — I haven't printed out any of my covers yet — so I just worked to the same resolution scale as Sky_'s Revisited cover for all of mine.

I think ThrowgnCpr was talking about printing and folding the box set box, not the plain DVD cover. As long as you scaled the cover to Sky_'s, you should be alright.

Hyeah... I'm afraid I'm pretty clueless on those matters, but in any case, I won't be releasing the full-resolution image until Ady's done with his edits, not least because there could well be changes in his edits that would necessitate a change in the cover art.

I just have to say...amazing work. You've managed to create something that pleases longtime fans of the original trilogy and new fans who would just like to see the old movies presented in the same quality as the PT and without some of the random changes Lucas made that don't really add anything. I had only seen the 2004 DVDs before this and I must say that this version is so much better. Han shooting first makes for a way more satisfying scene and the new Death Star reveal is awesome. I also really like the new Obi-Wan/Vader fight and the fact that the Death Star starts firing as it blows up. I look forward to ESBR.

As awesome as some of the additions are, that one gave me the most goosebumps, I think. I've watched Revisited all the way through 2 or 3 times, but I've probably watched that sequence about 30! :p

Yeah, that was VERY cool. Dramatically, it drags out the tension of who will get in the last shot until literally the very last second.

Okay...

I've tried three times, now. The first was made burning the folders directly with nero, the last two were using a new ISO one with and one without the seemless layer option.

granted, it's an aggravating issue....but have you burned DL media before?
because this might impact any future burns you do..

finally, depending on where you are...can someone else burn the files
for you, or do you want a copy sent to you in the meantime?

Thanks for everyone's help.

I downloaded DVD Identifier and found that Dynex media was the crap people were talking about on DVDRhelp.com.

I was able to take back the media and return in. Someone sent me a copy...and it plays beautifully.

I have burned other DVDs before...not DL, but regular DVDr or +r and it works fine. I think it was the media.

May Dynex burn in the netherworld.
