The snow seems almost too gray to my eyes, but if it matches closer to GOUT, then it's fine by me. How 'bout a third version of this sequence with a three-way split amongst Revisited/2004/GOUT?

That's my bad. i rendered the wrong layer for the clips. Well actually there is an extra layer that was supposed to be rendered with it but was disabled. You see, when i'm doing the colour correction, to get rid of the horrible cyan tint on the 2004 DVDs a lot of the blue tinting is lost and some subtle colours are also lost in the process. Once this is done i have to add an extra layer containing the 2004 DVD, but with the cyan tint changed to blue and overlayed at about 25% transparency. this brings the subtle blue tinting back to the snow, but i forgot to enable the layer. oops . you can see a comparison here:

Any plans to remove the boom mike in Lukes googles in just before he is knocked of the Tauntaun? More articulation to the Tauntauns eyes?

I never actually noticed that at first. I'll see what i can do.

How come you reversed the trigectory of the pod blast in the clip? Me thinks its because of the way the pod was launched?

If you mean the shot where Luke see's it crash then for some reason they flipped one of the shots so for continuity i flipped it. They used the same shot but filmed at a distance.
Darth Stewie, i've just had a look at your clip and i can see what you are getting at but i prefer it the way it is. i've never had a problem with the timeline taking a step back for this. This is one scene i will always remember sitting with my mates in the cinema in 1980. we see the probe land and then emerge so we know what's in it. next we see Luke see it land. Now when the Taun Taun becomes agitated the first thing my mate said was that it was sensing the probe droid coming to get Luke then we were all surprised when its actually the Wampa because we really were expecting it to be the droid. So i will be keeping the original edit.

At the end when the tauntaun comes into the base, when he stops at the very end, it looks like it's feet are floating, not having contact with the snow. I does not look like he is really standing there.

yeh, thats one of the unfinished shots. theres still a lot of colour correction to do and i'm going to attempt to smooth out the Taun Taun motion like i have in all the other shots.
