They're fixing the DVNR that was done to the LD masters as much as possible (scenes that were too badly damaged were fixed using the Japanese Special Collection, etc).

And if I remember correctly, no member of the project actually owns an X0 player, they sent them to someone else for transferring ... or something ... I'm probably wrong on that ... but the big point here is that no, they won't be able to do other transfers.
