DarkGryphon: I'm familiar with Gunga Din though I've never seen it. I'm also aware that Temple of Doom is very strongly based on that picture even down to the name of the Thuggee cult.

Anyway, it may be a complete and utter waste of time for you if you're a fan of the original, but not for me, obviously, because I'm fixing things that have bothered me for years.

Before Crystal Skull, Temple of Doom was always derided as the worst of the Indy films. I've always enjoyed the story and think there are some amazing parts in it, but of course, I subscribe to the "less-is-more" opinion and think it can be salvaged and improved by trimming the silly stuff.

ChainsawAsh: Thanks for pointing that out. I had considered doing the "AND THE" in the other font and agree it does look smooshed on the screen capture. I was just trying to stay consistent with Last Crusade and Kingdom, they were both in the same font. As you mentioned, Raiders was the only deviation from that. i might try it the other way, but I'm hoping the full-rez doesn't look as smooshed.

I don't think either ToD or KotCS were poor in the series. Unlike Star Wars, Indiana Jones has seperate adventures and don't have to be directly interlinked with each other. I enjoy all of them. Hell, I even watched KotCS a second time earlier this week and come to think of it, I'm going to watch it a third time before it leaves cinemas. Could it be I have a greater appreciation for the Indiana Jones series compared to Star Wars?
The only film from the PT I truly enjoyed was RotS. Both TPM and AotC have their low and high points. RotS felt more like an OT film to me. The first two from the PT felt more like Lucas was doing a couple test films before regaining his "touch".
GUNGA DIN honestly feels like the natural predecessor to ToD. I know ToD was heavily inspired by it.
So, I'll be awaiting for an Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis project.
Oh, and since you're "editing" it anyway, can you please have the "Place, Year" card changed to 1934? Only thing which has bothered me. OH! And that Thugee who was "awakened" from the Black Sleep of Kali while Willie was being lowered into the pit. I noticed that awhile ago. Dude coulda helped them but oh well.
