Seems like a complete and utter waste of time to me. If anything the film should've been longer. Hell, concerning all the Indiana Jones films, which I highly prefer over the Star Wars franchise, having deleted scenes it would've been great to up the running times for extended versions.
I had only one major problem with the actual film. It's actually nitpicking. The film should've taken place in 1934. That way there'd be a two-year-in-film-gap between the movies. So it shoulda been RotLA - 1936, ToD - 1934, TLC - 1938.
I have an even better idea for a project. Make Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis play like a movie. And "InfoDroid", have you ever heard of or watched 1939's GUNGA DIN? I also liked Shorty, made Indy be a father-figure and gives him more determination to free the village children.
