It fits the B-movie ethos these films have always had so much better than the actual title. It's also appropriate given the 19-year gap since the previous film.

I actually love the title Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I see your point, the word "kingdom" doesn't have much to do with the plot (George Lucas' idea, btw. According to the Making Of book he said "I don't care what the title is, just get the word "kingdom" in there somewhere.) But also, long titles are consistent with what's popular now. Take Star Wars, Narnia, Harry Potter, and Pirates for example...we have the brand name and then the subtitle. So, I probably wouldn't consider making this change for my version. No niggles for me. ;)
And I actually also was relieved when they finally put "Indiana Jones" in front of the Raiders title. I shelve my DVD's alphabetically. :)
And yes, Boon...I will be releasing this as soon as I throw a few finishing touches on this weekend. Then I have to figure out how to seed a torrent...never done one before. It'll be good practice.
Or maybe I can turn it over to fanedited.com for distribution...wink wink...
