The ED2 workprint is only 37 minutes long - it stops just after Ash says "Workshed" and starts again just before Henrietta pops out of the trapdoor to attack Annie during the finale. The main differences are:

- Temp music, sound effects and original production audio are present - "Workshed" sounds more overdubbed here than in the final film!
- There are actual reel changes onscreen, including countdowns and Technicolor logos
- There's a timecode at the top of the screen
- Though you can barely see it through all the tape noise, the DEG logo is at the start of the film instead of the Rosebud one
- No background when the Book Of The Dead comes up at the start
- Brief extra shot of the cabin
- Extra line of dialogue from Ash after he discovers the wrecked bridge ("That's no problem for me. I can always go back to the... No.")
- Brief shot of steam pipes rising from the piano, though this is barely visible through all the tape noise
- Some extra effects when Ash lands in 1300AD, as Ash sees the time portal disappear in the sky before the knights pop into shot

And that's about it. Sadly no Chop Top or squirrel eating as those scenes aren't represented here. Still, it's of academic interest and worth presenting for completists.
