Without wanting to sound negative or put words into anyone’s mouth, I'm sure that the X0 team are probably reluctant to release anything publicly though for fear of GL and litigation. I know I would be if I were in their shoes.
I'd love to see their final version and I'd also be interested in finding out a lot more on how they achieved it. It'd be fantastic to get some of their techniques, scripts and ideas that they use out in the public domain for others to work with. Hell, I'd buy a legal copy of shake myself if I could have a go with LMs' scripts to see what can be done with some of my own video restoration projects.
A long time ago Laserman made this quote: "There are also some other interesting discoveries we made re the particular noise signature of some of the laserdiscs"
Does anybody know what these interesting discoveries were and how they could be utilised to improve LD footage?
