Is typical Star Wars fan unnecessary-hostility really any better?
Personally, I can't blame certain people for being pessimistic, I mean they gave Lucas the benefit of the doubt three times in the last nine years, and each time he failed to deliver. But I don't think theres reason to be pessimistic because this is really Spielberg's film, and he does not make movies like Attack of the Clones so theres not going to be "I hate sand" scenes, especially with David Koep at the typewriter.
I dunno about you but I enjoyed Rise of the Sith. Could be I only own the Limited Edition 2-Disc releases, sold off the individual 2004 DVD releases, kept the boxset with the fourth disc and only own RotS from the Prequel Trilogy?DarkGryphon2048 said:
Typical Star Wars fan-pessimism. Shove it up your ass and twist on it. So very irritating to always having to hear about your bitching and moaning about this shit.

Honestly, I couldn't give a shit there's ANOTHER Star Wars film hitting cinemas. I'll pass and rent it on Netflix. Same goes for my animosity towards The Force Unleashed when Indiana Jones fans such as myself wanted that new Indiana Jones game. But no, Star Wars fans were bitching and moaning for yet another Star Wars game to keep them satisfied. In all honesty, I stopped collecting everything Star Wars, and focused my collecting money more towards Indy.
And no idea why Indy fans got the comic book versions of the intended "videro" games for Spear of Destiny and Iron Phoenix? Indiana Jones fans have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to merchandise compared to Star Wars.
I do enjoy both LucasFilm properties but my preference if I had to choose between the two, my choice is Indiana Jones.
Although I would buy the Young Indiana Jones DVD's but they're a bit pricey and don't contain the broadcast versions. I can understand why they didn't go the broadcast route as all episodes weren't in fact broadcast. No bookends with Old eye-patch Indy? Documentaries more focused on the educational and not behind-the-scenes for the series? Sub-par based from broadcast resolution videro? I mean c'mon! What is this?! These were all shot on 16mm with post-processing done on computer. Couldn't they have based the transfers directly from the film negative and used the final computer shit? One of my favourite shows I used to watch in my early preteens and now it's practically a rental. Also sorta tepid to be let down it was more edumacatuional compared to the Adventure feel of the films, video games and even the 1990's Bantam book series. Might as well rent the three Volumes anyway from Netflix.
