Less compressed: definitely

It will have all the content of the DVD-5 NON-Purist edition and, according to Adywan's DVD cover, it will also include four deleted scenes, two easter eggs, one FX breakdown scene, and a music-only track.

There are also rumored to be minor corrections to the subtitle trivia track and (did I read correctly, lo those many pages ago?) enhancements to Vader's voice. (Vader's voice may have gone on the Purist edition, which I deemed unnecessary and skipped.)

Essentially it's the final, published version. The DVD-5s, great though they are, in my mind are the penultimate drafts. And if Adywan has half the obsessive-compulsive tendencies I have, then he'd probably end up redoing those earlier discs so that they match his final vision. (For his sake, I hope he isn't and doesn't.)

I'm eagerly waiting to see this. Unfortunately, that eagerness has to be held in check by the fact that payday is next Tuesday and not today. *sadness*
