how come? i mean i used to use it to burn music unto and music cd and the dvd dist i am using is a maxell dvd-r 4.7gb or else i need and dvd rom with bigger gb

Sorry Covenant I don't mean to jump start you. I just wanted to contribute to the PIF chain and help out with the members getting a copy of the Purist edition.

It is the first time I'm trying out this strange and alien thing called the 'PIF!'

I don't know the correct way to do this- but I'd also love to join the PiF chain for the Purist edition, so if someone will volunteer to put me on their list to send me a copy I'll PiF to another OT member (three, right?) :-)

Yeah, you'd usually only send to one person after a while once most have theirs and someone comes in late. The only drawback I see to the way it's being done here is that basically, no one knows who's sending to who. Usually in a "DVD tree", everyone's username is shown on each 'branch' of the 'tree.' But this is a relatively small scale operation, so it shouldn't be a problem. ;)

Well the DVD-9's aren't going to be ready just yet, i'm afraid. But some good news is that i will be posting a few DVD-9's out this weekend.

What i need now is the people who contacted me a while ago with the offers of helping out with the PIF scheme , could you please PM me again because i just can't find the original PM's. Someone offered ages ago who had a DVD Duplicator but again i can't remember who that was, but i do have an idea. I basically need someone in the US, the UK and Australia to get the chain started that will be using high quality media (preferably Verbatim). These offers need to get to me by the weekend, if possible, so i can get them out.

Also next weekend they will be available via usenet and hopefully someone can begin torrents too

How do I get on whatever list exists to get a DVD-9 version? I'm not familiar with what a "PIF chain" is...explanation please?
