Second disc taking longer than expected, I compile the disc, and then when I play it back on PowerDVD, it comes up black, then it plays back the menus like still images with random audio playing through.

I might just start the disc from scratch at this point, otherwise it would have been uploaded already.

Are these discs actually region coded? Because the label says they're "1".

And speaking of disc art, WTF is up with Enchanted? Or all recent Paramount dvd's and repressings of older releases like Top Gun and Truman Show.

Knightmessenger, if you're talking about the silver disc labels on all Paramount titles (as of late 2007?), I'd assume it's them not giving a shit about DVD any more. Perhaps it's so they can again start listing "picture labeled disc" as a "special feature" on their eventual blu-ray releases. :P

Seriously though, it's happened here in Australia too. I thought Transformers was a one-off, then I bought Stardust and it was the same. Crappy Paramount.

Can you post versions without the big white dot in the middle? I use full-face labels, not CD labels.
