What is the best (easiest) way to make a shot list of a given video clip?
Of course I can manually type timecode and comment in a text editor, but I doubt there is no software that could aid me.
I tried adding markers with comments in Adobe Premiere Pro 2, but this wasn't the best option: I can't make a search and they're listed only if I make them numbered ones (up to 100 per sequence).
Then I experimented with Adobe Clip Notes, but this method is valid only for its main purpose: sending a clip for a review. While I can make a search in a PDF file containing the video and comments, it's not that useful (especially when I get double results...) and the file size is way too big (is there a way to delete the video content? the file is secured from modifying...).
I'm intending to make a documentary feature someday, so what I want is to make shot lists for several clips in order to know in advance "what I have available for editing". Then I can make searches in those lists to find shots containing seached subjects (I'll use keywords). I need timecodes, my own text and - in ideal world - a screenshot or two of the frame/shot in question.
Is there a proggy that would make my life easier?
