I've read next to none of the post-ROTJ stories, but it's funny to hear about how many changes the authors make in the story, and how many more they just end up going back on.

I think that's why Lucas (or Dark Horse, or whoever's decision it was) just said screw it and jumped ahead by a hundred years to do the Legacy comic books.
