I think that the problem I had with this film, that I'm not sure can be fixed with an edit, goes beyond the vampire-looking Remans or B-4. To me, this film is effectively a re-make of Wrath of Khan with TNG cast. I wish there was a way that it could have a unique plot. The final battle was mostly a redo of the final battle in ST2. I think that some of this stuff should be looked at. I don't think you could eliminate the secret weapon that the Romulans had, (don't remember what it was called) but make it less "genesis device" like. I don't know if this is really possible, though.

Having said that, I think that at least getting rid of all the yellow eyes of the Reman would make them better, at least slightly less "Space Vampire" looking. Maybe grey or black? Don't know if you can do this, though.
