Okay. I've had tons of April Fool's jokes played on me over the years. My car was "stolen", My girlfriend "slept" with my best friend, I was "fired" from my job. My love and anticipation of the Empire Revisited has gotten me looking forward to Star Wars in a way I haven't had since 1996 thru 1999. This is really the worst joke played on me yet. I literally felt my heart sink into my stomach. I only wish I had the skills with editing and effects that Ady has because I, like so many on here, have always wanted to "fix" certain things in Star Wars. Not to be a graffiti artist on someone else's work but to perfect the neglected aspects of the films. When I read that post, I had forgotten totally what day it was and it really was an awful feeling. I've never posted because like someone else said earlier, I'm like a professional lurker on here. I've been reading these boards for forever and this is my first post.

Ady, first of all, thanks from the bottom of this closet geek's heart for what you do. I don't know if you realize how important you've become to Star Wars fandom. To me, you truly "get" Star Wars in a way that us old timers (I'm 32) appreciate. I'd pay you to keep going if that's what it truly took. I have a singular love for the OT because of the special place it holds in my otherwise craptacular childhood. I "daydream edit" these movies all the time and have for years,and when I saw your finished product it was so close to what I wanted that the daydreams have stopped almost completely for ANH and has moved into high gear for Empire.

Secondly, let me tell you that today, and only today, you are one evil darkside SOB for this joke. Do you realize that not all of us have Vader's life preservation suit on and might actually have a stroke when we read that you've decided to cancel???? I found a brick in my shorts when I read that!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr baby.... grrrrrrrrrr

My son Lucas (yes I named him Lucas) and I love your work and love the fact the we have something to look forward to again. Thanks again, and I guess I am the one ol' Obi-wan was referring to, "Who's the more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows it?" Or did he say ....follows HIM?
