I think we all do in some way, especially us Americans who deserve the best. I would've been fine with just CW's releases personally in the end, but that would be a matter of opinion (worse we can expect is whether or not a proper NTSC master could be made or would they just convert the PAL source over as usual).

Thanks for explaining some of the problems and pitfalls that FF have had to deal with CW. Makes things a lot clearer.

Now we can only hope they'll find a good way to distribute these over here (given such a new company they are, it's hard to find a break in the US market if any without a proper campaign or awareness).

It often means there is no definitive version (that we're ever likely to see anyway).

So sadly true, somehow I noticed a lot of Japanese-European co-productions that were of that type where they different content-wise over content in the editing.

If there was some way I could make up for this, here's a rar file I put together of the OP and ED themes for the Japanese "Taiyô no ko Esteban" (or "Esteban, Child of The Sun")...
