doubleofive - Nice, and once you've added the relevent 'screenshots' to both, they sure will make a nice set. No pressure on Adywan then, lol.

Thanks for sharing, as I love seeing the designs that various folks come up with for their film covers.

My own favoured look for my ideal 'Star Wars' cover, whether 'a new hope', 'Revisited' or otherwise, would be the original dynamic '77 poster art (with all the characters) but with the ACTUAL 'Star Wars' yellow logo on it, rather than the alternative white one that was used.

a humble suggestion - could you do similar to what the Rifftrax guys do and offer a feature length MP3 commentary online that we could play on another device (iPod, Zune, etc.) while we watch the DVD on another device? the Rifftrax thing has worked well for me. (rifftrax.com for the uninitiated)

Well, I'm sure that everyone would understand that the reason we needed to have a fourth PAL and third NTSC single-layer release is to contain the commentary, right?

Hate to be a bandwagon-jumper, but yeah, the bonus material could always go on a second disc... but if you're not into the idea of a commentary track, then don't do one. Whatever leaves you most satisfied with the project will do the same for us.

Personally, I think you've already done more than enough on this edit and since all of your work on it has been documented throughout the course of this thread a commentary would've been somewhat redundant anyway. I think it's best you just put the finishing touches on the DVD9 and take a well deserved break from this edit. Honestly, I don't know how you stayed sane through this whole project as I would've gone mental a long time ago. :)

You still putting our covers on the DVD-ROM part of the DVD-9? Of course, most of our covers only have the info for the DVD-5. If the covers are going on the DVD-9 wouldn't we need to know what all is going on the DVD-9?

I wouldn't mind if you just limited the covers on the DVD-9 to yours, I'm just curious if we should update ours.

I think its great the way it is! Seeing yours is what inspired me to try my own. I originally wanted to use this poster, but I couldn't find a high quality version and it would have ended up too similar to yours. So I did the figure card back idea, and I think it turned out alright.

I'm going to look more at the prequel card backs to see if I can't make them work. Since they don't have the solid black backgrounds I don't think they'll fit in enough with the OT though...

I was thinking of making a compilation of screenshots of the visual changes between the 2004 DVDs and Revisited, kind of like starwars.com did when GOUT came out.

Has anyone started one of these before?
