Hhahahahahahahah!!!!!

That tape deck is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! Its interesting that the Star Wars films are so cheap once you get inside the cockpits, but they spent so much time on the outside effect shots. I can just imagine a couple of smoked out hippies waiting until the eleventh hour to put the cockpits together for shooting and taking apart someones dashboard to build it. Man, Star Wars is a trip...

That's part of what's great about the OT - they used what they had and got creative.

I've been staring at that screen all day, and I never noticed the tape deck. Maybe Ady can erace that for us now that its all we can see...

I think we see the control panel during both of Luke's trips to Dagobah in ESB and ROTJ, but I don't remember if it's the same.

Ya...now that I see the old Tape player with the radio slider, it would be cool to do something with that. Nothing "high tech".....just something.....peace..

Both movies use the same shot of the R2 control panel. In fact, the one in my examples is the one from RotJ because the color balance was 1000x better. I also checked the front end of the cockpit between the three movies to see if you could see the R2 panel at any other time (you can't). The cockpit seems identical between all three movies, so that's good.

Speaking of going too far with a joke, I was thinking about Luke falling down Cloud City. In the original, he doesn't scream. In 97 SE, he screams. In 04 SE, he doesn't scream. How about we throw caution into the wind and have VADER scream when Luke jumps.

I think you know what I'm getting at...

Sluggo, you're absolutely correct!

There's been a lot of bashing of Vader's last line in ROTS, but it's his realization of his total culpability in the death of the woman he loved (and who, inexplicably, felt deeply for him as well).

But here, watching his sole offspring (so far's he knows) fall to his death.... I can see it. That same scream. That same horrifying moment that the beauty of life is ended.

Wise counsel. Vader must scream.

My apologisies, Matt. I meant it opposite from what you read there. Now if he were to say, "Aw, frak!", then I could go for the change.

MattMahdi knew my thoughts exactly. But I'm glad I prefaced my original post saying that it was going too far with a joke. Because it is. Silence is golden, especially in Luke's suicide/escape attempt.

What about have the 3 force ghosts as they were pre 2004, BUT when Luke looks away all 3 slowly transform to their ep3 from. This way you will have the best of both worlds. Also are you planning on keeping Naboo at the end celebration for ROTJ? If you do keep it please remove the "weesa free!!" line.
I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then you could keep both Dracula AND Superman away.
