I was watching TROOPS last night and thought the presence of TIE's in atmosphere (or near ground level, anyway) looked strange. Without this becoming a nerdy debate on the capabilities of such a craft, can anyone remind me if there are any parts of the films in which we see a TIE *not* in space?
