Well......I figured out a way to get DVD Movie Factory to re-write the VOBs without going through a complete re-encode.....and it worked on all 3 HD-DVD players!!!

It imported the settings from the original DVD, I removed the chapters, did the default chapters just like before (Every 2 min), and it took about 15 minutes to write out a new VIDEO_TS folder (After about 6 or 7 tries).

The whole 15 minutes was spent re-muxing the audio since the video did not get re-encoded.

Just got done watching the whole thing from begining to end it it was nice!!

Unfortunately DVD Movie Factory does not understand any of the menu structures and such so it is a bare bones presentation....I put the disclaimer video, the Adywan Productions Video, and then it jumps straight into the movie. Looks better upconverted with the HD-DVD player than it does with the PS3. The black levels are smooth and with the color correction that has been done it was superb. Ady's work is pure genius. I even check the bitrates on specific scenes and they match exactly to the original. So this is a pretty decent work around if you have one of these players. It took all day....but not bad compared to the work Ady has put in Hell I did not really do anything but change settings, wait, and try it.

So I guess I just have two versions in the case now.....one full blown masterpiece and one version that works on the Toshiba HD-DVD players

The audio change I think is a good one. Because you told us what you changed I think I noticed a couple of times where the center channel may have a little over bearing during some of the action scenes (every where else center sounded perfect).....but it still sounded tons better than I have ever heard Star Wars before. Because I was focused on the sound so much I bet it has always been that way with the center channel unless it was not noticable until you turned down the L&R.

Thank you again Ady for the hard work, dedication, and a version of Star Wars that will be in all of our history books!!!
