So......using DVDSHRINK no worky........completely remaking the DVD from the main title seems to fix what ever is not compatible with the Toshiba HD-DVD players.
Does not make much sense....but I guess it is what it is. I will say this.....I do not think it is worth stripping it down for yourselves unless all you have is the HD-DVD player. If you have another way to watch the original Ady DVD.....I would not bother with a re-encode. I have many other ways to watch the DVD but just wanted to figure why it was not working and come up at least with one way to be able to watch it in those players for those who may not have another.
So....I would assume most of the cheaper consumer friendly DVD applications will probably produce this same result. I just do not know what the difference is in the actual DVD its self
