As for what Cameron will look like, she has been scratched up a bit before, and her wounds seemed to heal. Maybe she has a special type of skin that can regenerate itself. I am sure they wont want to change the way she looks, I doubt she will take much damage at all. Probably just a few burns. Or they'll replace her with another actress

. It would be kind of cool to see her exoskelton walking around for a bit, but that would get old fast and would be contrary to the "light on special effects" theme the show has had so far.
