Yeah, I can't say those things don't bother me. I always roll my eyes at those moments. And yeah, the whole "sometimes they go bad" thing was lame too, unless they explain some logical reason why this happens some time later in the show (like a timed auto-reset the machines resort to after they discover their soldiers are being reprogrammed and used against them) it would have been left out.

The whole head flying through the time bubble, Cromarties high tech futuristic endoskeleton managing to remain undiscoverd for so long and then functioning without a head was a horrible idea. We discover that there are at least two other T-888s there at the same time as Cromartie (I also hate that he has a name), why couldn't they have just replaced him with a fourth T-888? That way Cromarties body could have once again been used for research like in T2. Also they could have saved theirselves a lot of dumb plot wholes by giving these guys liquid metal skin for shape shifting. Then instead of the Terminator being married, he could have just assumed the woman's husbands identity. Same thing for Cromartie and the FBI/actor disguise. The whole idea of forcing a guy to do cosmetic surgery on you and then leaving without any bandanges is insane. Even if for the sake of keeping the budget low every liquid metal skin change had to be done off screen, it would have saved the show from alot of its problems.
