It is really interesting to hear people say things like this all the time. Star Wars Revisited was a huge hit, but a TON of things where changed in that that really did not need to be changed. Many of the edits in that seemed like changes that were just fun to see. That is what I liked about it. I have seen Darth and Obi-Wan fight each other like old men time and time again, it was fun to see them fighting at a faster pace. I might be wrong but that, and many of the other changes in Star Wars Revisited seemed like they were just things that were fun to see. The thing I liked about Star Wars Revisited is that it is fun to watch because of these things. I liked seeing the mass of Tie Fighters joining in at the battle of Yavin, but surely they were not ncessary.

For those that don't want the "just for fun" changes or don't want to see the OT "modified", then you do realize that you still have the 2004 Georgie versions and the GOUT, right? There are other de special editioned version of the 04 DVDs out there, as well as version that correct the "deliberate creative decisions". Why not go after those and not sweat about whatever Ady wants to do with his?
