I already put Beauty and the Beast out, but after putting it out, I confirmed that the so-called original theatrical version on the DVDs (at least the Japanese R2 I have access to) is not what it claims to be.

Also the credits are redrawn (the font is wrong for the end credits, and "presents" in the first card is placed too high), and "In association with Silver Screen Partners IV" is missing. I have heard of other redrawing, but this is all I myself have found.

Disney has admitted that they change the colors for the dvds. They want them to look modern, not to look how they used to. A lot of other Disney Classics have this problem (Cinderella, Peter Pan, Pinocchio and Dumbo, among others) Maybe the colors can be corrected too? The new dvds (especially Beauty and the Beast) look horrible.
