Disable automatic post sender

How do you disable the automatic post sender, that is when the user is off-line as I have been for the past two months now, glad to be back and happy new year, to you all.

How and where is the button because I’ve been flooded with nearly 500 in my email box at the same time!

Not exactly sure what the problem you're having is, I never get email from OT.com, so I am not sure how much help I can be, but I'll give it a shot.

When replying to a thread there is a "Subscribe to this Thread" check box under the "Reply to Thread" "Preview" "Attach Code" and "Cancel" buttons. Are the emails you are recieveing about thread subscriptions? If that is the case then every time somebody replies to a thread you are subscribed to you will recieve an email about it. I am guessing this is the problem.

I am sure there is a simple way to unsubscribe to everything, which would be a better way to fix this, but if you cannot figure out how to do that, and I do not know how to either, you could click on the "Customize" button (located under the Navigation bar), and find the option that says "I want my thread subscriptions to be delivered to my private message box instead of by E-mail." and check the bullet labeled "Yes" under this.

In this way all your thread subscriptions should flood your PM box instead of your email inbox. Hope that helps.

And if C3PX happens to be wrong (which I don't think he is, because I was planning to respond similarly before I saw his post), then Zion, Moth3r, or Jay will notice this thread soon enough and surely will be able to point you in the right direction.

There is no lingerie in space…

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

You were subscribing to one of Adywan's thread, weren't you.

I only subscribe to threads I've made or ones that are important to me, but are rarely posted in.

Yes there is, to both posts. Click the today button, on the left they'll be your thread subscriptions. Click "Select all" and, "Unsubscribe" and, boom your thread subscriptions are gone.
