Well, somebody needs to get this and let me know if the deleted scenes are an improvement over the Criterion version. I shelled out enough for that one, so I want to be sure it's worth the upgrade.
And again this makes me angry about the format war. If there weren't a format war I'd be on HD and the upgrade would be a no-brainer.
Originally posted by: Ripplin I actually watched the ADM version of Brian yesterday and enjoyed it. It pausing for no good reason at regular intervals, but I guess I just had a bad burn or my PS2 was acting up or something.
that happens to my friends ps2 also. ALL of my burns play that way on his ps2 but are fine on every dvd player i've tried them on.
Yeah, most of the time, it's fine, but once in a while it'll behave strangely. I must say it has performed very, very well, though. I bought it refurbished and that was at least 5 years ago. I'd like to get a PS3 soon.

no there is no torrent, and it is not released yet,but when it is,it will be rapidshare.
Rapidshare does have a free option. One just needs to be patient with the process. It makes great sense to bookmark or even set the page with all the RS links as a home page during the time you're getting all the parts. It may take a long time, but it is indeed free, and that's a comfort to many students especially.
ADM - Great edits! Your Superman's in particular are bar none FANTASTIC! Any chance you might take on Transformers one day? Anyhow thanx again for your work it's really awesome!!!!!
A lot of people want me to take on Transformers. I'm not quite sure what I can do with it. It literally nauseated me by the third act. Michael Bay may not be the worst director in Hollywood, but I think he's the worst successful director. I honestly don't know what Spielberg sees in him.

Didn't nauseate me, but I did get this "ENOUGH, ALREADY!" feeling by the end of the last battle. I can only take so much mindless action (especially the over-the-top variety) before I'm just plain bored. Fortunately, it ended. I liked the movie, but when I hear my brother say 'that was the best movie ever,' I just kinda roll my eyes. It's nothing more than a flavor of the week thing to me. I did like it far more than I thought I would, though! I don't know how I'd edit it, other than shortening some sequences, I guess.
I hear ya nthe Transformers, still can wonder tho...still thanx for the Superman edits and your HP Extended versions are great, just finished HP5 it felt much more "complete"... SP3 re-edit was way cool too THAT film was the biggest let down for me last year, but now I can watch it.. with 100% less dancing!
