You might be able to minimize it in photoshop. It's only going to be for 1/30 (1/24) of a second, so it doesn't have to look perfect. Here's a really quick and dirty one I did. I clone brushed out the sky and selected just the black line over his face and altered the levels on it a bit. Took me 10 minutes.
