As JD said in the 1st post on page 4 of this thread, the 70mm print of ROTJ used the "Main Title" from "Empire" but no one knows why.

Returning to Jedi features several alternate audio takes used in The Story of ROTJ album but my guess is these DON'T come from the 70mm print and originated with The Story of album.

P.S. is anyone able to provide a scan of the Film Score Monthly magazine article JD mentions, as I would be interested in reading this article.
