How would you watch the WMV's on the PS3? I was not aware of a way......if you know a way please let me know! I know you can watch them on the 360......but streaming that large of a file is very crappy unless you have Wireless N.

With the PS3 you could copy it to the drive and watch from there if the PS3 supported WMV!

EDIT: I guess the most recent update for the PS3 allowed for this when they added DIVX

Question: These do show up on my PS3 as playable media files like the DIVX do......but it says "Unsupported Data" when I try to play them. Is there something I am doing wrong or are these not encoded with the proper WMV codec that the PS3 supports?

When I look at the "Information" for the files on the PS3 is says it is VC-1 video codec and show a thunb of the video.
I am thinking it might be the audio codec it is bombing on? I have that issue with some DIVX files with AC3 5.1. Some have worked and others have not. The 360 plays the videos with AC3 just fine.

If anyone has any advice or experience with this let us know since these files will not fit on DL DVD and streaming them is hard unless you have the newest wireless infrastructure or hardwire.
