Was the English 5.1 soundtrack taken from the 2004 U.S. DVD set, or taken from SkyTV and then speed/pitch corrected? Is this English soundtrack synchronized perfectly with the video at all times?

From what I have read the video has been adjusted to 23.976fps and the audio is the 5.1 AC3 track from the NTSC DVDs.
