Nicely put focuspuller. As important as it is that people be able to post their thoughts here, positive or otherwise, the comments should not degrade into any sort of attack on the creator. I agree with what Adywan said, that since he's offered a reason behind all of his changes, it's very unfair for someone to resort to saying "he changed this and that simply because he could" solely because that person happens to disagree with an editing decision. It's fine to disagree with a change, but don't start implying a mistake was made because it doesn't suit personal preferences. As others have said, if someone is still really bothered by something in Adywan's edit, they really should go ahead and make their own; perhaps it will not only please them, but other fans who share their tastes.

And, as for Mojo_LA being a professional in the field...

I'd go so far as to say most of what comes out of Hollywood isn't good. As focuspuller also stated, Mojo_LA's opinions are as valid as anyone's here, but not more so simply because he does FX work professionally. That would be akin to me saying a book I read was terrible, and if someone else happens to like it, then they're wrong and I know better simply because I'm a high school English teacher and hold a university English degree. Who the hell am I to tell someone what makes for good or bad literature? At the end of the day, it's just my opinion and is neither right nor wrong.

@ Adywan
One little change I meant to comment on earlier but forgot -- I liked the replacement of the blaster sound effects on the Falcon when the stormtroopers are ambushed by our heros on board the Death Star. Having sounds of Chewie roaring and things being knocked around does a good job of alleviating the question of "if the stormtroopers were shot, where are the blast marks?" or "was the Falcon shot up?" since there's no evidence of such later on. Just another example of the subtle yet great changes made to this edit.
