i'm sure if ady had unlimited resources there are things he would've improved on above and beyond what he has achieved. he has stated there are shots he wanted that just could not be pulled off with the existing material.

It seems to me that to update a 30 year old movie like this with consumer level technology, and pull it off so spectacularly, requires a great deal more raw talent than working on brand new tv where all the tools and libraries of material have been created with making your job easier in mind.

when ady got stuck on a shot, i suspect he had to do a mountain of research on how to achieve what he wanted, rather than lean across his desk to ask his boss how to do it. If you're a big enough star wars fan to frequent these boards, and it's soooooooo easy to do, where the hell is your edit.

going on to other boards and badmouthing ady and his edit is low. to quote dave lister "you've got a longer yellow streak than a stampede of diarhettic cammels"

go back to the (render) farm man. you go against the very spirit of fan editing.
