Just finished watching the xvid version via my XBox 360. I must say that this is one of the most impressive fan edits I have ever seen. The amount of work that went into this really shows time and time again. I lost track of how many times in fact my jaw dropped to the floor with all the changes both big and small I noticed. If anything this is what the real SE edition should and COULD of been. Amazing what one man can do compared to George Lucas and his army of thousands (along with his bigger wallet). Stuff from the better starfield to seeing the Millennium Falcon actually "do a few manuvers" after Han brags about this really is just an amazing job all and all.

There are two things that to me kinda stick out like a sore thumb on this edit tho:

A) The rearranging of the stuff during Luke and Obi-Wan's discussion at Obi-Wan's home seemed awkward. Having Luke and Obi-Wan talk about the Clone Wars after watching Leia's video didn't feel like it had a good flow to me compared to before. I will admit that I haven't read every post in this thread so perhaps there is a good reason behind this change that I'm not aware of but my first thought right away on this rearrangement while watching is that it didn't come across as well as it did before.

B) I will admit that the musical score added during the Obi-Wan/Darth Vader lightsaber battle is amazing. That really enhanced and made that scene even better than it was before (which is already powerful on its own). However the volume level of the score in the mix is very low compared to the level where the rest of the score is at. Its even more apparent when the original score kicks in right after Luke screams "NO" when Vader kills Obi-Wan.

Like I said this is an amazing fanedit. This certainly is one of the best fanedits ever done hopefully alongside the Superman: Son Of Jor-El one. The two things that I menton are very minor compared to everything else. Overall this edit gets an 9.95/10.
