Maybe a bit off topic but because I read this thread I took a good look at my Jurassic Park LaserDisc. In the previous century I started out with a VHS copy but bought the DVD the day it came out. Years later I learned of the SuperBit version with the awesome DTS track. When I bought my Pioneer LaserDisc player for my Star Wars LD to DVD transfer I got a bunch of LDs with it including Jurassic Park. I never played it but I liked it for the cover alone. But somehow because of this thread I thought let's play it and I have to say the audio is just so good. To me it sounds better than the DTS track. For instance the sound of the Brachiosaurus when it is first seen by Grant etc. blew me away. And the thunder that rocked my room when it landed on it's front legs is just awesome. I have LaserDisc 41829 with the Dolby Surround audio track. I have to make a bit accurate capture of it someday. Sorry just had to tell this.
