With an attitude like that i will remove it with pleasure. You had plenty of time to tell me that you didn't want your name in the credits when i said that i would be including EVERYBODY that contributed to this forum in the credits months ago, which you did contribute. Actually i don't see why i should have to go back and redo the credits yet again after i did give everyone plenty of warning.

Ady, I've just rewatched SW:R again and you've actually credited me twice: my old username 'Cashflagg' is on there. For some reason I can no longer log into that account so feel free to jettison that particular credit. I certainly don't deserve the extra billing!

Adywan so sorry to hear about the tooth-ache situation - u have my sympathy. This country gets on my tits as well! As u say spend ur whole life playing by the rules and then get shafted basically. How much would it cost to get it fixed privately? Perhaps we could all contribute - least we could do after such a fantastic edit.

As for Neil's comment - the height of rudeness in my book (if it wasn't a joke). Neil why don't you go out there and make ur own restored version of the original cut and stop winging? There's room in this world for differing views of opinion, and different versions of the same film. I love both! From some of ur other posts I've read you seem to act like you OWN the original trilogy or something... Take a chill pill dude... It's an honour to be on that credits list!

Hope that tooth subsides man - clove oil is VERY good for numbing the pain.

Ady - whats the process for getting DVDs out if you dont mind me asking? I'm not entirely sure how the PIF scheme works....I've got a burner: do I get one from you then send 5 out? Get one from someone else and send some out?

Also, is it just people on this forum you want them going to or as many people I know who are interested?

or you can just get it from the newsgroups and share anyway you would like.

not difficult to setup and very fast download speeds,torrents are to risky anymore,most people don't bother.

there are guides right here in the how to section on newsgroups,very informative,and very easy,you can do no wrong by learning this technique.

I'm sure that quite soon after the release (probably on the Usenet), the DVD will be availabe via torrent. I forgot who did it the first time, I think it was Molly. Anyway, I hope someone seeds a torrent as soon as possible.

Well I've watched only the first 5 minutes of your edit and I gotta say, Adywan, I am more than impressed already! The biggest surprise so far is the laser blasts you added that are chasing the rebel soldiers down the corridor behind 3PO as he searches for R2 on the Tantive IV, especially the white explosion that happens just before we see the one trooper fall. I guess I never noticed the retreating troopers in the background before, so I was convinced you had added them as well. I had to go back and review your list of edits to see what you had changed, and that's when I saw you had added the laser bolts only. But man, you really made that background come alive, Ady! Awesome work!!! I can't wait to watch the rest of the film. I'm sure it will take repeated viewings to find all the little things you changed...er, improved. Again, great work. Can't wait for the DVD.

The 2004 editions actually made the sabers thinner in several places (supposedly to make them "more like the prequels"). So I'm all for fatter sabers (I much prefer the ROTJ look, I like the sabers in that movie and the theatrical Episode I looked great).
