Everyone,

I'll probably get flamed for this, but this nitpicking after Ady has put three years of his life into this edit is kinda shameful. He's gone above and beyond every step of the way and when I watched the XVID, I wasn't watching for mistakes - rather, I was breathing a sigh of relief at the number of Lucas' mistakes that are no longer there.

Given that Ady only had a specific amount of footage to work with and manipulate and was working within very tight creative confines with only so many elements to draw from, the result is nothing short of phenomenal. Imagine if you had spent three years working on something, taking everyone's suggestions all along the way - up to and including showing people the Yavin battle and whatnot in advance to give them a chance to comment before the final picture lock - only to have everyone come back after it's finally done with all of these criticisms and debates.

I for one am grateful someone was willing to do what I personally cannot. The mistakes aren't Ady's - their Lucas' for failing to make this right in the first place.

If you think you can do better, then by all means edit it yourself - but play fair and edit it from scratch, from the original 2004 DVD as Ady did, and then we'll be happy to compare notes and see if you can match or better Ady's results.
